Thato came to ALX with a desire to build foundational skills in AI and prompt engineering, looking for a structured starting point that would give him the technical grounding needed to pursue the broader ambitions he was already beginning to shape for himself.

He invested heavily in expanding his technical and digital skill sets, using the momentum from the AI Career Essentials course to go further than the programme itself required, mastering the art of prompting to boost his productivity, completing a Software Development Bootcamp, and earning a Google Cybersecurity Professional Certificate, building each new credential on the foundation the last one had laid.

Today Thato has transitioned into entrepreneurship and freelance digital creation, founding his own creative agency, building his own website, and producing AI assisted content for a podcast, while simultaneously navigating the DevOps infrastructure needed to launch his own ecommerce apparel brand, driven by the kind of momentum that builds when someone stops waiting for the right conditions and starts creating them.
