Fathia was developing her skills as a software engineer in Benin but looking for a program that would push her beyond learning syntax into genuinely thinking and working like an engineer with real projects, real collaboration, and real professional standards.

At ALX, she worked on real-world projects using Flutter and Dart, collaborated through Git and GitHub workflows, handled code reviews and branching strategies, and debugged build issues across multiple platforms. The work demanded problem-solving ability and professional communication in equal measure.

Today Fathia works as a freelance Software Engineer, building production-style applications and approaching complex technical challenges with the independence and confidence that ALX built in her. The experience taught her discipline, consistency, and how to apply logic even when solutions weren’t immediately obvious.
